                                              ATMA IN GEORGIA

 

Dear Members, Friends and Families,

 

It is an honor to serve as Governor of the ATMA –GA chapter. The members of

our chapter including the office bearers should strive hard to make an impact

on the people on whom we want to serve. Our service to the underprivileged

helps change and improve awareness of their health through our power of

knowledge and gift of compassion and generosity of time and money.

 

We want to have maximum possible participation by our members in our meetings,

project and other activities. Communication amongst us should be frequent and

meaningful without fear or personal agenda. We will act true  to our core values

of integrity, openness to ideas and diversity of opinion; We will focus on  results,

accountability and transparency.

 

I am deeply committed to cause of Tamils and I love working with people. I have been active in ATMA since 2006. I believe that everybody of Tamil origin are also thankful and want to give back to our people back home. They would love to see a trustworthy and strong conduit to do so.

 

My sincere hope is to make our organization as THAT channel to bridge our desires, hope and dollars to the needy people of our State of Tamil Nadu and everywhere where Tamil speaking people needing help live.

The heart to help others is a basic human instinct. The vision to focus this instinct appropriately, belong to the leaders of our organization. The hope is that ATMA GA chapter with it's new team will provide the forum to discuss, decide and execute charitable acts throughout our existence and will make us all feel proud about our achievements and the smile and gratitude from the recipients will enlighten our life forever.

 

By the end of next year, If every Tamil speaking person in the State of Georgia can recognize ATMA for it's name and the charity it does, Our team will feel the happiness of fulfilling it's set goal.
